PROJECT X-MILE

How does it work?

From 5km fun-runs to the annual Iron Man, every kilometer covered can make a difference!  PROJECT X-MILE invites all sports enthusiasts, from all disciplines, to use sports event participation as sponsored projects that will raise funds for a mission focus of your choice.

STEP 1: Browse INcontext‘s projects page HERE and choose which project you would like to support.

STEP 2: Contact Gustav, our Project Manager, to let us know about the event in which you will participate and which project you would like to support.

STEP 3: We will send you an official INcontext sponsorship form (tailor-made for your event) that you can use to raise funds for the project of your choice.

STEP 4: Ask people in family/social/business networks to sponsor an amount for every kilometer that you cover, or to make a once-off donation for completing the event.

STEP 5: After the event, send the amount raised to the INcontext project fund, with full assurance that everything raised will go to the designated project.

STEP 6: If you are willing, send us a photo of you participating in your event, so others can be inspired to do the same!

PLEASE NOTE:
  • Only original official INcontext sponsorship forms may be used, available directly from Gustav.
  • All sponsorship forms must be returned to INcontext once the event is completed.
  • Funds raised must be paid into the INcontext account.
  • A unique reference name/number will be sent to you, for payment after the event.

Zelda-X-mile

Zelda Deysel raised R5200 for Project Living Bread through her participation in the 21.1km Two Oceans Half Marathon on the 20 th of April 2019. Thank you, Zelda!

Project Living Bread aims at making the Bible available to those who cannot read by distributing solar-powered audio Bibles in mp3 format.

Andre Basson participated in the OTTER African Trail Run to raise funds for Project Cedar Tree. Andre managed to raise R9330 by participating in the 41km race. Thank you, Andre! 
Project Cedar Tree supports the refugees in Lebanon through various ministry activities and relief efforts.

PROJECT BIRTHDAY

How does it work?

PROJECT BIRTHDAY creates the opportunity for anyone to use their birthday celebrations as a means of inviting people to get involved in a Kingdom-building project. Instead of bringing personal gifts, friends and family are asked to make financial contributions towards an INcontext mission-field project of your choice.

In support of this, we will make a personalised video for you – WATCH BELOW:

STEP 2: Email us with details about your birthday, and what you would like included in your video:

  • your birth date & a personal photo
  • which project you would like to support
  • details of your party/gathering

STEP 3: We will make a video for you, load it on YouTube and send you the link (only people to whom you personally send the link will be able to view the video – it will not be visible to the general public)

STEP 4: After your birthday, you can deposit the financial gifts you received into INcontext‘s bank account (with your name + birthday as reference). We guarantee that ALL the funds received will go towards the project of your choice!

PLEASE NOTE:  Video editing takes time, so we will need all your information at least TWO WEEKS before you require the video to be ready. Also, only a minimal amount of edits will be possible, so please keep this in mind when you are doing your planning!
